Some Christians think Jews have horns

I've read an article today on HuffPost about an online forum of American white supremacists. The author wrote about what he read there and shared his views. This is all connected to the recent incident where an 88-years old white racist went to the Holocaust Museum in Washington and killed a black security guard. Under the article, I checked some comments. I saw one that really surprised me and I decided to share it here (I only corrected some of the wrong spelling):

Ira7 "Former New York Jew here (now Florida, atheist, 52) and lived in North Carolina for a year in 1976. I was the first Jew that 99,9% of the people there had ever met, and I swear... More than one, MANY more than one, asked to feel under my thick, long hair, to feel my horns. They were NOT joking, they didn't even make any kind of satanic connection to it, but they simply thought that biologically, Jews had horns. Mind you, everyone I interacted with was EXTREMELY nice to me. They truly lived the Christian life and didn't "hold it against me", but that ignorance was still there."

I don't know why, but this story sounded funny and pathetic to me at the same time. That was 1976. I wonder if today in America still some people think Jews have horns. Well, I wouldn't be surprised if they did. And by the way, I don't think Europe (or even Slovenia) is any better in this regard. If people believe in ancient fairytales, than this is nothing.

I browsed through my old photos of my stay in Malaysia. I was there during Chinese new year. The celebrations last for 15 days and we went to various temples many times. I noticed that the local Chinese girls really dress up sexy when they go to the temple. I saw many beauties there and managed to snap a photo of one. She was there with her boyfriend and a bunch of other people. That was in Segenting, a fish village near Batu Pahat.

Bush hears Jesus talk, Obama doesn't

I watched a documentary on Obama today. A black pastor was asked what is the main difference between Obama and Bush in connection with religion. He replied that "Bush said he heard Jesus speak to him, guide him, influence his policies" (Oh Jesus, why all these wars, waterboarding, Kathrina and recession?). Whereas "Obama said that he never heard Jesus speak to him." The pastor added that "when Obama goes to church, he's always going there with a bit of a doubt." That inspired my following images.

To 'believe' in evolution

Religion is words. Words have power. Words affect people, you control them with words. No wonder we have 'freedom of speech' and 'freedom of press'. It's all connected to words and the power they have. Lately I've been noticing in USA journalists ask politicians: Do you believe in evolution? You see how far they've come? The creationists pushed their bullshit agenda so far that now the mainstream media asks if you 'believe' in evolution, same as if you believe in god. They fight for evolution and creationism to be on the same level, while obviously one is scientific fact and the other is a phantasy fairytale based on some old book. Why these people do that? These are evil people! They are militant and reckless. They try to brainwash children and make fundamentalists out of them. The theory of creationism leads you to extremism and intolerance. They impose this idea into children and their followers. Their plan is to teach creationism all over the USA same as Taliban want a fundamentalist state in Afganistan. There is no difference. So what we can do now is not allow journalists to ask people 'do you believe in evolution'? They have to say 'are you one of these ignorant religious militants who fight for a Christian state?' They should say 'mister, why do you ignore the scientific fact of evolution' and not 'do you believe in evolution'. Every normal person knows that their claims are ridiculous. But we can't just laugh about them. They are damn serious to push through their agenda and we have to be very careful. We have to speak out whenever we see someone trying to sell the creationst bullshit without being questioned!

Apparently after the 'Rickroll' phenomenon on You-Tube, there's a brand new thing of a simillar kind: 'The keyboard cat'. This video is hillarious! Both parts blend it together perfectly. I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw it. It's also another proof of the so (in)famous Christian 'tolerance.'

Faith Fighter: People complain, God doesn't

This morning I followed a link on my friend's tweet and it brought me to this article. It's about the game 'Faith Fighter', where you can chose between God, Jesus, Buddha, Ganesha, Budai and Muhammad to fight against each other. Of coursereligious people started complaining, this time all of them were united and demanding the game has to be banned, it's disrespectful and similar bla bla we keep hearing everytime someone tells a Jesus joke or a Muhammad cartoon...
So I went to check out the game myself and it's fun. They even give you the choice to chose Muhammad censored (see picture below). That's a good joke, it made me think which Muslim would chose the censored one? Would he chose the uncesnored one? Or would he chose none? It's funny to imagine. Same goes for Christians. Big question: Should I chose God or Jesus? For me it's a fun game, you should try it out and just not take it seriously. And I hope it won't get banned, because if you're so offended by a game like this, then first of all - question your own faith. Are you really that petty? Can't you rise above these kind of earthly nonsense?
I think the core issue of things like these is that a joke has a lot of truth in it. The more you can laugh about religion, the more you realize it is a big hoax. I tolerate religious people who keep their religion or beliefs personal. But I hate those phonies who don't practise what they preach. They're usually the loudest when it comes to complaints, that's why I'm happy if this game is another thing that will make them upset.
