FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT MY HOMETOWN/COUNTRY
My favorite thing about my hometown is that there is always something to do, something to see and something to learn! Whether its spending time with my friends and family, having a relaxing afternoon at the beach, or just attending one of our local events I always feel so immersed in our rich culture. Im never bored or lonely and everyone feels like family when I come home to the Bahamas. Our delicious cuisine, laid back atmosphere, and world famous attractions are second to none and its no wonder that our 700 islands have become a much desired vacation destination to people all over the world.

HOBBIES
I enjoy photography, video Production, writing, reading, dancing, playing piano, attending sporting events, and going to the beach!
MY GOALS IN LIFE
My life ambition is to remain humble, while achieving a healthy balance between my professional and personal life. I want to reach a point where I can have a successful career and still dedicate enough time to raising a family because both are very important to me.
MY BEST ASSET IS
I think I have many great assets. One being my smile, another being my personality, but I think my best asset is my ability to adapt to different situations. Growing up I was exposed to many different cultures, activities, and lifestyles which has made me much more tolerant and accepting of others.
MY DAILY PHILOSOPHY IS
My daily philosophy is 'don't miss out on today's opportunities by worrying about tomorrow.' One thing that everyone often wonders is what the future holds for us, but I feel that some things are unknown for a reason. God has a plan for all of us and as your faith is strengthened you will find that there is no longer the need to have a sense of control. I believe that things will flow as they will, and that you will flow with them, to your great delight and benefit. I always strive to enjoy each moment of my day remember that all things happen for a reason.
THE MOVIE (AND/OR BOOK) THAT MOST INFLUENCED MY LIFE
The book that has most influenced my life is called "With Winning in Mind" by Lanny Basham. I am always searching for ways to better myself as a person and this book has really helped me develop in multiple aspects of my life. The techniques in the book help you focus on delivering a consistent mental performance when in high pressure situations. It has assisted me in remaining calm, controlling my mind under pressure, developing a great self image, and has improved my understanding of my conscious and subconscious minds. I like to read it before big competitions or job interviews, It puts me a good state of mind and i feel like i'm ready to concur the world!
WHO I WOULD LIKE TO MEET AND WHY
I would most like to meet Martin Luther Kind Jr. The world that we live in today would be a very different place if it wasn't for his efforts during the Civil Rights movement. Growing up in a very diverse household I was exposed to many different cultures and traditions, and without his bravery my family may not have had to opportunities to obtain success. He was an incredible man, and I would personally like to thank him for shaping the world as we know it.
I AM MOTIVATED BY
I am motivated by my intuition and drive for success and i know that if being successful was easy everyone would do it. I believe that hard work supersedes everything and as long as I apply myself I know that there are no limits to what I have the ability to achieve.
WHAT IS THE MOST UNUSUAL THING YOU HAVE EVER DONE?
Last summer, I studied in Spain for one semester and fell in love with the experience. One of my favorite memories was participating in the running of the bulls in Pamplona. 12 bulls plowed down the streets of Pamplona while thousands of people ran! It was said to be one of the most dangerous years yet, but it was very exhilarating.
BRIEFLY DESCRIBE THE MOMENT IN YOUR LIFE YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF
The moment that i am most proud of is opening the boutique that my mother and I own together. It was something that we had always wanted to do, and when we finally did it, it was very rewarding. Not only were we able to work in an industry that we've always loved, but we're honored to also be able to work closely with people undergoing cancer treatment.
WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE JUDGES TO KNOW ABOUT ME
My family has always been an influential support system; they have stood by me and provided unconditional support in my daily endeavors. Growing up I was instilled with core values that enabled me to be motivated by God. It is because of their unconditional support and my faith, I can proudly state that I am the person I have become; a woman of integrity, loyalty, and kindness. I believe that holding the title of Miss Bahamas is not only an honor and a privilege, but it is also a job. In my eyes the year as Miss Bahamas is a year of service and I couldn't be more excited and ready to serve my country.
